i shouldn't think you would have to do it ~ just if you wanted, and if folks you wanted to chat with were there.

i've got AIM, YahooMess, WindowsMess and now Skype.  Do i really need MORE messenger services?  Or more friends to chat with on the one's i've got?  lol

You can view/post to lg with it, and chat to any one of the other 500 or so people using it.

I'd get it but I don't see the point in bothering, I only use skype regularly now.

Chat rooms attached to message boards almost always seem to end up sitting there, empty.
