i spent most of my time online at livejournal. i worked for the abuse prevention team for a while. well, volunteered, because it's not a payed position. it should be, with the amount of shit you have to put up with and the fucked up stuff you have to see.

i gave up drawing but took up crocheting. toys, mostly. i made about a thousand bucks from my yarning last year. not great when put on an hourly basis.

i am raising two kids, which takes up more of my time than anything else. i'm not raising them alone, obviously, but if one kid is a full time job then two kids are definitely two full time jobs.

so what the fuck have you guys been doing? i am sincerely curious.

I got married and continued to have fun in Japan. I played baseball, cricket, golf and beer. I bought a couple of houses because the NZ dollar is monopoly money now. Work happened, apparently. I would post at Thrash's and Eric's board and I went to Moshland and ate heaps.

Went to Afghanistan where using message boards of any type was generally discouraged and then sort of stumbled on this a few days back.

Like you and goats, I gave up reptiles. I took up hiking (long distance) and went totally gay for sailing. I have two boats but am giving one up, hopefully this week. And I've gotten involved in SCA, though I'm not a SCAdian (and never will be). I've been trying to move to a mountaintop in WV for two years, and since I lost my job 8 months ago, will likely lose my house, this looks like the year.

I went to TSi for a while, but I never liked it.  I've been making steady progress at work, such that I am one of the most well-known members of my organization, in the US or Brazil.  I've almost completed a video game for distribution on the Xbox 360 (via Community Games), and I have plans for my next one(s).  I was thinking about marriage for a while, and living out of the country.  I bought a new Jetta TDI, which I love, and kept my old car too (just in case I want to do something else with it, like convert it to electric).  And, of course, I lost a girlfriend.
