I love laptops, if I had a proper PC I wouldn't be able to still get online regularly; my parents would notice.

I've never been able to type on a laptop. I've had a laptop for over four years now, and have always used a proper keyboard and mouse hooked up to it. Hence why I'll be buying a desktop next time.

The only benefit of laptops is portability. And that's such a minor issue for me I'm usually much happier with a desktop. I use a laptop nowadays but only because it was required for school.

All-in-one solution is a benefit.  Even the AIO desktops out there typically just use laptop parts.
Lower power consumption than standard solutuons is a benefit.  Mosh's 80W beast pulls less juice than most desktops.

And then, for some, the space saved with a laptop is a benefit.  Ignoring portability, most desktops take up a lot of space, which may be at a premium for some people.

Yeah, Asian people. Although the new generation of desktops where everything is built in behind the display is changing that
