I spent two days supporting Arizona Latinos and trying to keep people civil on the Facebook "Boycott Arizona" page and apparently I got my profile banned for supporting FB's freedom of speech policy when some neo-Con Christian assholes are praying for Obama's death and one of my own busted me. You can't win.

Well, with any luck, all the illegals in Arizona will haul ass over to California, solving this little problem.

Generating electricity on the scale that we do in the US has very little to do with skill and everything to do with capital to build power plants and available land for power plants.

Realistically, it would be hard for them to stop selling electricity to California because (1) various Californian agencies are part owners in the plants in question and (2) Arizona needs the revenue from selling said power to California and would never seriously be able to pull the plug.  The capacity was built to serve the demand in California and it would absolutely be shooting yourself in the foot to prove a point.

I just wish there were someone here who lives in AZ. I just wish. Picking on Tejanos is too easy...

I can't believe they don't have enough local workers willing to work (whether drunk stoned or whatever) to fill the needs of the community.
It's a great opportunity for those who have been on the margins for so long to gain a bit of a guarantee of wages to help them out.

At least work on those days they are fit for it. Collecting cans and bottles is quite a bit of work in itself and most street people are actually capable of doing common labor jobs at least.

That work ain't fit for decent white folk...
