drunk loaded-gunning is way worse because the losers on my facebook friends list don't ever try to call me on stupid thoughts. they just "lol" or "tru dat!" my status updates, not realizing i hate them all and only can't delete them because my iphone fb app is an asshole. okay i'm all set with this post.

Yes. There IS a Music Area. I just can't find it...(Read 4094 times)
and so:

Entendu - Edie Pijpers

I listen to a lot of foreign language music, and I found this in a movie:  Zerophilia.

I can only find three u2b's of this artist, but there were LOTS more songs that she did in that movie.

I'm watching that movie, just to hear music.  How messed up is that?  ALMOST as much as me?  rofl

Oh.  And the three songs?  I listen to, over and over.  Her voice is haunting, like Enya, but the melodies are a little snappier.  ;)

YEAH!  I don't especially give a shit if anyone LIKEEES smilies ! I DO!  I laugh, a lot.  Life is Teh Funneh.  And I ENJOY it!  And when I do a smilie?  It's 'cuz I'm laughing!

Y'all say you don't like too many smilies, but what if someone that is just basically a HAPPY, laughy person comes here?

Well, now that you know me, you may hate, at will.

I'll be on the floor, rolling around, clutching my sides, and ENJOYING the Hell outta what I see, think, say, and/or am forced to notice!

I watched "O Brother" over just to hear the Sirens sing and Constant Sorrow.

Go To Sleep You Little Baby
Soggy Bottom Boys- I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow
For a while I thought the sirens might be Copper Wimmin.

Everyone gave me shit for posting about Copper Wimmin a few years ago. But how many groups can sing A cappella and get away with it.
I love their music. I carried on an email exchange ( I was on their fans list ) with the one on the far left for a time after they broke up.
I especially liked their "American Tyranny" album.

I think I have some earlier Copper Wimmin songs online somewhere. Let me go check

WOW!!!

That Siren's song, and those Copper Wimmen!!!

Yeah, so what's up with that?  They get, what?  Artists that aren't very well known, have 'em do a soundtrack,

and NEVER release it to CD?

Like the flippin' studio couldn't figure out a way to make some bux?  Please.

That's why I was suggesting Edie to Sasha!  First to release, in the US, and all...  And the rights

wouldn't

be

hard

to

get

BUT, that's not exactly about the MUSIC, is it?

I'm going to the ranch, but I'm SO looking forward to coming back and watching that movie!

Thanx, Tru!

Copper Wimmin were a local Bay Area group. I never did get to see them perform live though, really wish I could have.
I think the sirens sons (go to sleep little baby) is Emmylou Harris but not certain about that.

I went to a bar the other night and didn't know it was a lesbian bar until I was surrounded by them and I saw that the bathroom had "Wimmin" above it.  How fucking dumb I am sometimes.

I vaguely remember a trailer for O Brother but have never seen it. I'm going to fix that soon, maybe tonight.

It's Coen Brothers so you know it'll be at least fair quality. Supposedly the whole thing is inspired by Homer's Odyssey so keep an eye out for links. I have to say I don't think it's a very closely-related work. The references are minor. Good film, though.

IT was a great movie. About the funniest thing I've ever seen. But I did see it the first time while in jail so that might color my perception.

Apparently the Sirens scene has been classified as adult themed and inappropriate on YouTube. The damned Jesus people are at it again.

Ok, I have now fallen in love with this chick's voice after being linked to her earlier today:

Pomplamoose - Another Day

Her and her partner/boyfriend mostly do covers, like this:
Michael Jackson - Beat It

That is the most insane cover that I have ever seen...

This is the one that made her internet famous:
Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) - Beyonce

I don't want to say she's not good. She definitely is. But she also does sound like a lot of other female artists these days. There's nothing necessarily that grabbed me.

Except I'll also say she's quite cute. That always helps.

All (if not most) female artists are cute. srsly.

Ehh, during the covers, yeah, but she sounds awesome on their original songs, at least I think so.  Like that "Dying to Live" one she wrote and recorded herself on her own youtube channel.
