GG Allin's lyrics are sometimes pretty layered and obfuscated, so I decided to look some of his songs to see what they're really about.

She was in Milwaukee a few months ago. She's normal now, without the piercings and Jerry Springer attitude and so forth. She was working at Saz's for a while. She has had 2 kids, but they are taken care by her parents I believe. She has left those hardcore days behind her, I think. She's not one to give you all of the details, ya know? She was only was with GG in 1993, the year he died, but did the talk show circuit. He did punch her in the face once, though. Somehow, I'm not surprised. She is now in San Diego and might be marrying the military guy she had been with for a while, and moved out there with, but he's in a submarine for 5 months. I didn't know her past when I met her, and I'm sure she has put it far behind her. I'm not one to gossip, and I am sure that I have said enough already.

Hoke and the Mentors gained international notoriety in 1985 as a result of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation's hearings led by the Parents Music Resource Center's Tipper Gore, the wife of then-Senator Albert Gore, Jr. (D-Tennessee) into the proliferation of "obscene" lyrics in popular music. During the hearings, the Rev. Jeff Ling recited the lyrics to the Mentors song, "Golden Shower" to musician Frank Zappa, who opposed the hearings. The lyrics, which included the line, "Bend up and smell my anal vapor/Your face will be my toilet paper" elicited howls of laughter at the Congressional hearing and prompted Zappa and others to denounce the hearings as a farce.
