WTF is this all about?

Is this story just crockpot related or anything to it?

As far as I can tell, that site is completely full of shit. I've seen it pop up a few times on facebook, and every time it's some sensational claim that sounds extremely unlikely. Apparently it's run by somebody called Mike Adams (who calls himself "the health ranger") who seems to be associated somewhat with Alex Jones, who's a fucking nutjob and a half.

As to the claim about NZ, I have no idea. And coming from a website like that, I can't even be bothered to google it.

Yeah pretty much my conclusion as well. Especially if you check out some of the links in the side bar, like this one.
