While they won't be dumbing down their already crude lineup of shows, Science Channel officials assured viewers that the network will continue to cater to the lowest common denominator and will keep airing embarrassingly base content completely stripped of all intellectual integrity. Officials also noted that the cable channel greatly values the 18- to 45-year-old demographic of louts, clods, and empty-headed dumb fucks.

You know that not _everything_ is a euphemism for anal sex, right?

Also: top pot donuts in Seattle is better'n voodoo. And one does not have to stand in a blocks long line of tourists.

Hampson's butcher shop in Hayle is the same way. Better pasties than Philp's, none of the tourists.

I haven't tried that one.  I can't wrap my head around a beer in a bright pink bottle - in my imagination it's a beer that tastes like those frosted pink circus animal cookies.  I like their Rogue Farms line - both in principle and in practice.

Nimrod...

Actually the beer is based on a Maple and bacon doughnut from of course, Voodoo Doughnuts. (actually it's just a maple bar with bacon on top)

So Nick, did you have a Voodoo Doughnut while you were in Portland?

16 year old me wasn't bad.  I spent most of my time outside and had mastered a low effort/high reward approach to school.

It was the 19-25 or so me that was the peak of me being a tool.

Re: pacific northwest Reply #51 on: September 02, 2013, 08:09:52 PM
I wish 16 year old me had a clue about that approach.
I was master of the no effort / no reward method of schooling.

The only class I had any interest in was science. Yet a year or so later I had started to catch on. But I was already in the military by then. I had to get completely away from everyone I knew and grew up with to enable a change of perspective.

I don't think 16 year old me was an idiot but I had very poor self esteem.

Most likely in 5-10 years time I'll look back at now and think actually I was an idiot the entire time.
