Nancy Sinatra - These Boots Are Made for Walkin'

Man they were so hot, the whole Go Go girls thing that is. (yeah I know it was all advertising)

Not to mention the free love mantra back then.

What the fuck Happened?

Nixon.

That and Fort Detrick,

They not only designed AIDs there to kill the free love movement they also provided the anthrax used to control public opinion and help the bush admin kill a million Arabs for the profit from war and the oil they owned.

Nancy Sinatra - These Boots Are Made for Walkin'

I wasn't around, so I guess this is just speculation, but I have a feeling that people must have found this incredibly racy at the time. Maybe a little too much, maybe something like the shit that gets said about Miley Cyrus and various other female artists these days, about how they've just gone too far, damnit.
ever tried. ever failed. no matter. try again. fail again. fail better.

And then she was vilified for standing up for the Vietnamese people and pointing out that they were never any threat to the US and WE were the bad guys.

True.

The whole thing was so the corporations could loot the US and dispose of trouble makers and undesirables through the draft. The killing of millions for their scheme to work seems to have had no effect on them. The Vietnamese really had no clue what was really going on, they were just protecting their sovereignty. The major players in the south were fat capitalists backed by US corporations who wanted to use the people as slave labor like Japan and China using our children to try and take over a country with aggression, not for security but for capitalization.

Fuck us, we the people didn't know what was going on, but we deserved to lose.
We were on the wrong side, we should have attacked Washington back then and killed every spawn of the .gov.

We were trained from the get go to be on the wrong side and believe we were doing right.

It took decades for me to come to terms with it. But I realize I was trained to be a killer and maybe someday I will have a chance to execute my training in a way that counts.

At least I hope so.
