Few people live so long, he had a good run.

I had a grandma that lived to 98, another on my mothers side that made it to 104, but most of the men in my family flame out between their 40's and 60's, I'm a little over due I guess.

Yeah, my sister and my mom didn't follow in their mother and grandmothers footsteps, both died early 40's.

Considering the volume of drugs and alcohol I've consumed over the years compared to them, it just doesn't make sense. 

Now the 98 year old smoked tobacco every day in a pipe and I have no source but was told the 104 year old liked a little whiskey now and now and the reason I was told this was because I was a little afraid of her and asked why she was walking around the yard acting strange.
