Hahaha, well I've never been classically handsome but back then I had a rock hard body that women loved. Like Houdini if I had a chance to get ready and tense up I could take a punch in the stomach from anyone and barely notice it. I also had great hair. (it was the 70's)

But I get the concept, back then we had different work out girls,
but it was soon understood that they were performing for the young guys watching. And well there really wasn't much to watch early in the morning back then anyway.

Now you know I don't live in the LA area, but this looks pretty right, supposedly their apartment was near the beach and if you are going to show the boardwalk it might as well be a real scene.

I watched an episode yesterday (because of this thread) still laughed a couple times but seems pretty dated now.
