Yes it's interesting, but I don't believer we were ever "hairless". By looking at the hair on other parts of the body it's clear that we are still in the evolutionary process of loosing our hair. One reason the sensitive areas may have retained courser hair is so that we can more easily feel when something is invading, not because it's good for the parasites.
