Hahaha the court mandated 7 days in county jail on my DUI. I turned myself in this morning at 9:00am as directed. I set everything up to take care of stuff in my absents for the next week. I spent THREE FUCKING HOURS in jail!Even with the bus ride and walking half way across town I was back home by 1:30.  Gotta love that over crowding.

It's really all about the fines it seems, not the punishment.

It does jinx it by announcing that your wife is pregnant before three months.  My friend did that and his wife had a miscarriage.  If you don't believe in jinxes then you're cool.  I think my life is jinxed.  I had a really heavy period and two weeks later I have started discharging again.  I hate vagina's.  If I could go back in time I would've picked to be a guy.  It's horrible I cry all day and bleed for weeks.  Thank god I have a gyno appt in three weeks!

I'm sick of it.  They won't fix me unless I have a kid, I asked.  They think I might regret it later.  I don't know though.  If I could have a kid and save it until I could take care of it in some sort of futuristic chamber I would totally have one.  But I can't afford it.  I think that if I didn't have ovaries I wouldn't have these issues.

WELL... So here I am! My first impressions of Paris are pretty positive. The food is GREAT. Coffee - great. Croissant? What's not to like. The shopping (at least in the 5th District/Latin Quarter) looks really interesting. Saw an adorable tea set and umbrella that Ive got to have. Gonna peek around tomorrow. The streets are clean (even though the underground is filthy, Everyone needs to take a cue from London on that note - so efficient and clean) I have also found that the people are generally nice. I can not believe how many people stopped to help me carry my bags, get a train ticket, explain a map - and I didn't end up robbed. Right on, France. To everyone who says the French are nasty, they need to spend a fucking day in Germany and then come back and tell me if they think the French are snooty or mean. The French, so far, say hello, please, thank you, do you need any help? ect. as much as Americans do. Its like those words don't exist in the German culture.

I did notice that the French don't really care for anyone fumbling through their language. I have to think about the words before speaking them otherwise German or Spanish will come out.  But I think they get frustrated with the time lapse and start speaking English. Sadly, I can communicate faster in German. However, They do not speak German. i think they are still Butthurt over that WWII Nazi takeover thing.

Looking forward to some flea markets. Starting classes on monday.
