Holy shit, I rode my bike all the way across town and back trying to get supplies for my c&b .44 today. None of the gun shops had caps for it. looks like I'll have to wait a fucking week.

I am such a hateful bitch lately.  I am stressed out about anything and everything.  I complain about everything.  No one wants to hang out with me anymore.  I don't know what to do.  I think working so much and school being so hard is finally getting to me.  Also, taking care of my sister and not having any money is killing me.  Fuck everything.

CT: I'm seriously thinking of enrolling in flight school.

I already know the basics, I was a helicopter mechanic and had to start them up and test that all the controls worked properly, I got ferried around in them quite a bit but only warrant officers were allowed to fly them where I was stationed, not piss ass specialists like myself.

I have always loved the idea of being a pilot though. I wouldn't even think of trying to be a commercial pilot for any airline. But small plane pilot I know I could do.

Not sure how many opportunities exist and I'm really fucking old now but I don't care. I like the idea of going to the airport and flying away.

Would any of you get into a plane that my most of the time drunken ass was piloting?

I bet there are several tour type opportunities for small plane pilots on your Island Si, and I know there is a big demand in Alaska. Not sure about other local opportunities outside of crop duster but I would just like to have the certification.

Just to be able to say, I am a pilot.

I'm not much of anything so that would at least be something.

She is 22 and all skin and bones. Pretty eyes, no curves. IMO not 'hot',  more like a 22 year old who looks and acts like a 9 year old.

Baugh, it costs 35 to 50k for flight training and there are no jobs at all out there, especially in the US. There are thousands of experienced pilots with thousands of hours who can't get work. The only places that would even consider hiring a new pilot with low hours are in North Africa and Asia. And even then the pay sucks, you can just about make more working at McDonalds.

Maybe I should just try to get a two seat ultra-light, it would be cheaper. They don't require a pilots license and I could still give the ladies rides.

Yeah.  My sister's boyfriend went to flight school instead of college.

He claims he's moving to Maryland to marry her as soon as he gets a job as a pilot.

Either he's going to have to settle for something else, or he just doesn't want to marry her.  I don't know how he expects to compete with domestic pilots with thousands of hours of experience, plus returning veterans with thousands of hours of experience.

Breath the water

Reality had changed and instead of breathing air people were breathing water and were
unaware of it. There were other parts in the beginning I can't remember that would likely
explain how this came about. It may not have actually been water but something close.
I didn't notice any current or wave action. The light seemed a little funny.

Having realized what was going on I reasoned that if we were breathing water, then what
would keep us from swimming? Turns out nothing! But the entire atmosphere was water
and we didn't seem to actually feel any different when walking.

Once aware all one had to do was jump up and start swimming. LOL very similar to a flying dream. But in this dream there were others there that I was teaching how to do it as well. It wasn't quite the same as a flying dream because the water being denser produces more resistance to forward motion. So swimming through the current ( air ) took a little more effort and gaining high altitude was extremely difficult.

If you stopped you started sinking immediately. But not actually falling. While on the ground gravity however felt normal.

I actually remember while in the dream thinking that this scenario might make a good
science fiction story.

I taught about three other people how to "swimfly" and it was a pretty fun dream.

Oh! And I just now remembered that real close to the end, the end actually, I learned how to somehow collect extra oxygen from the "water" and use it to provide more buoyancy, but not enough to float without swimming too. Just enough to make swimming to a higher altitude a bit easier.
