Put in raised garden beds, gonna be planting vegetables soon. 

Putting in some dwarf fruit trees soon, too, though I guess it'll take a couple of years to get the first fruit.  Going to keep them in planters so they stay small.

Blackberry & blueberry might go in next year - going to just put cover crop in the flower beds they had in the backyard for at least this year, because the soil quality doesn't seem that great. 

I'm hoping to be able to pick wild blackberries this autumn.

Well one particular brand. They're small, cute, cheap and have farmyard animals on them. The only drawback is they're only sold in one particular shop and they're never in stock. In 3 years I've only seen them in stock twice and each time I went back relatively soon after and they were sold out again.

Impulse buy, woman; impulse buy ...

I didn't realise they'd sell so so quickly! Next time I will. They make my handwriting so beautiful.

CT: Why is metal fabrication so cool and yet so very, very dirty?

Seriously, it looks like someone kept a compost pile in my tub for a while.

I don't know what sort of tub you are referring to or what sort of fabrication you are up to but. I once worked at a steel wire manufacturing plant, they took large diameter wire and made smaller wire out of it. It was an incredibly filthy process because they used powdered soapstone as a dry lube. The soapstone soon became black from mixing with the steel. I suspect the same sort of material is widely used in metal fabrication and the resulting surface of the fabricated steel products remains coated with it to some degree.
