On a more serious note...  dense human populations living in close proximity to dense animal population combined with poor sanitation guarantees that we're going to be hit with stuff like this every once in a while.

I saw that a Republican Senator switched sides today... and I dont disagree with his assessment of the Republican party having moved so far to the right that there isnt room for moderate Republicans anymore.
