I saw this yesterday.  Pretty awesome.  I literally jumped out of my seat when they had that ice creature chasing Kirk.  I was all ready for it like "oh here comes a rambling ice monster blah blah" and then the camera instantly zooms in on his face and the thing yells at like 100 decibels.  I almost spilled my popcorn and shit everywhere.

All the actors/actresses were excellent, I'm looking forward to this cast repeated infinitely for as many more of these as get made.

I'm really surprised how good of a job J.J. Abrams did on this.  I've always absolutely hated 'Lost'.

Lost is just overly convoluted.  Cloverfield was good.
