Can the unread replies be hacked to include a link to send me to the last page I veiwed ?

Pretty common feature on a lot of forums now but I'm not sure if you can implement it on these types of boards.

It's definitely handy and saves lots of time.

I checked SMF mods section first. I couldnt find anything to suggest anybody has done it. And I have no idea how many scripts(?) would need to be changed. I do understand that there is some kind of timestamp interaction already going on so yeah. I am ignorant as to how much work this would be. I just know its work.

If i'm understanding you, you don't want to have to go through ALL of the posts in order to see the newest, correct?

If so, you could have the Newest Posts At The Top by selecting that option in the User Controls.

There's a hack for another board that does this (VBulletin), I'll see what I can do to modify it as I have time ...
