Today I saw this while browsing online...

A TYPE OR B TYPE?! Oh the brilliant majesty!  Imagine all the records, books and other assorted crap I could put on this awesome bookshelf.

But then I saw the price. $1315.00 for 10 Blocks.

Detroit and I figure we could do this for maybe $150.00 WE Could make our own tetris bookshelf later this summer (err.. once the kitchen is done).

Here's the plans:  http://www.instructables.com/id/Build-a-Tetris-DVD-or-book-shelf/

W/ plexi glass back, colored.

Yeah I was gonna take a look at one of the levels that matches the colors in my parlor and base the block colors on that. I need browns, blues, creams ect. Kind of like the picture minus that puke yellow

And the hope is to bang it out by a sat afternoon, paint it, let dry overnight, fill it on sunday. Unless of course we could stain it to make it a lovely heirloom item to bestow to children later

BUT I didnt want to purchase the materials UNTIL we purchased other important kitchen materials.
