i'm going with the Crossbow: ammo is retrievable; weapon is virtually silent; ammo can be handmade.

i was really leaning toward Dylan/DrugMoth, until he got yelled at...

Weapons aren't good! Things that cause pain suck! However, I'd go for the crossbow and a baseball bat, which should have been on the list to begin with.
