I need some new sunnies. My Ray Bans broke and I aint skilled in the art of silver soldering. So I have to shell out for new ones.

Not being fashion forward, I havent got a clue about this stuff. Any recommendations?

Rapist mirror shades will not be considered.

And yes, I'm aware of the frivolous nature of this thread, so please keep the asshattery to yourselves.

Being the outdoorsman that I am I wear Julbo Sherpas. They're affordable, functional and durable. Also they were in style in the early 80s and again when Stargate SG-1 was in full swing. But mostly the affordable, functional and durable thing.

I used to always buy Oakleys, but they've pretty much moved to just putting out shitty fashion frames.

I've since bought from Spy & Smith Optics.  My preference is Smith because I've found they fit the shape of my face + my fat head better.

I bought a $4.00 pair with silver dragons on the earpieces at a gas station on the interstate.

What does that say?

black coat, white shoes, black hat, Cadillac, yeah

I really like Ray-Bans. They're good quality for not ridiculous money. And they make lots of different wire-framed shades, which I prefer cuz plastic frames make my eyes sweat.

Since they got took over by Luxotica, Oakleys are now uglier and more expensive than ever.

I've liked a lot of smith frames on guys. electrics are pretty hot right now (my favorite pair, pictured in photo of me in brown tanktop with guy in red shirt) but a lot of the men's styles are too big for lots of guys to pull off without looking like elton john. sexy surfers tend to do well by them.
