What you're talking about must be the CMB, and I don't think it's something that's able to affect terrestrial broadcasts even at 1%.

OK fine, but drawing a straight line directly connecting one to one to the other, as Jai says Bryson has, is fallacy.

I don't know about this Bryson dude, but I do know fallacies.

In fact, oops - it looks like what you're doing here is actually called "Argument from Ignorance". eek!

Note: I'm not defending the existence or non-existence of the Big Bang as a universal origin. I just want to see fallacies treated well.
