I was wondering the same thing.  I was also wondering how I had two abortions and they didn't notice this.  My friend told me I can now officially go fuck myself today... it cheered me up.

I have no idea.  It just proves my point that doctors don't give a shit, don't notice shit, and don't want to tell you shit.  I told them I want the film of all these medical anomalies.  They said I could request it.  I will post pics if I can.

Re: More medical issues. Reply #185 on: July 23, 2010, 03:57:31 AM
Maybe the news is so bad that they dont want to tell you.

And, I saw houses for sale in Flint MI that were half the price of that kidney...

Plus, cadaver organs are only given a life on average of 7 - 10 years.
Living donor organs between 10 - 12.

Mate of mine got a heart transplant about a year ago... man I have never seen a transformation in a person like it... they reckon it's good for 30 years.

Am I really the only one here who thinks that Sasha's two pussies could just be terrible, uncaring, free-clinic radiology and not an actual medical anomaly? I mean, did the doctor check physically, or did he just glance at a potentially double exposed image?

Bullshit, don't try to tell us you've never tried to blow your own horn... you blame your back problems on a car accident a few years ago, but I know the real reason you ended up in traction!

A couple of months ago I had the most pleasant experience. Rubber-band ligation. Due to my horrific diet, not drinking enough water and seriously straining to shit, I have had a hemorrhoid problem for a couple of years. It got so bad I made an appointment with the doc. It was horrible. I'd never had a man's finger up my ass, much less the medieval buttfucking instruments that were roughly ramrodded into my brown-eye, and covered in blood later when they were laying back on the surgical instrument table. After the procedure, when the doc brought the table I was laying on back up I experienced the first vasovagal response in my life, from the internal sphincter muscles contracting rapidly under the stress of having a rubber tourniquet squeezing the life out of my internal roids. I nearly fainted but the doc noticed the sweat instantly pouring out of my face and quickly laid the table down before I went fully unconscious. I laid down for about 15 minutes, then got up and almost fainted again. For two days my asshole felt like a baseball was up in that brown bitch.

Two months later, I am eating fruit at least once a day, eating two Fiber Choice pills a day, and drinking much more water than I used to because I never want to experience that again. My external hemorroids got to be the size of marbles when I had a really bad case of them. My girlfriend, loving as she was, actually smeared Preparation H on them for me on a couple of occasions.

I wish had I pictures to share with you.

So I got really sick on the plane back from England after my Spain trip, and was sick for a good few days afterwards. Some kinda stomach bug, it sucked. Then about two weeks later, what I thought was a bad hangover turned out to be yet another bug of some sort, this time with a high fever (104) that wouldn't go down below about 101/102 no matter what I did. So I went to the doctor, which I hate doing, but I figured I should check this out.

Turns out the fever thing was no real problem and that went away in a few days, but in getting a check up I found out that my blood pressure was way the fuck high. Dangerously high, apparently. So I quit drinking, and as of tomorrow won't have had a drink in two weeks. I'm also exercising more and being a little more careful about my sodium consumption, but honestly the drinking was more than likely my biggest problem. I think most of you guys are pretty aware I was a heavy drinker, so I won't bother going into it, but suffice to say it was too much, and for too long.

So here I am in a sort of new chapter, not drinking, and honestly not missing it. I'm saving money, losing weight, and actually quite enjoying myself. I think it's silly to make some sort of categorical statement about never drinking again, but for now I'm off the sauce. I'm also realizing that there's no fucking need to drink every single day, if and when I do eventually allow myself to have a few drinks again. It was a silly way to live my life, expensive and destructive and more of a daily chore than something fun, in a way.

The nice thing is, having read various horror stories from other alcoholics who quit cold turkey the way I did, I was expecting all sorts of shitty withdrawls and stuff, but haven't had almost any. I've had a couple of those dreams where you drink and then feel bad about it, but otherwise nothing. So possibly I'm not as hopeless an alcoholic as I would've thought - go me!

I dont drink a lot... only when I go on holiday, I tend to binge. My blood pressure is normal.

Re: More medical issues. Reply #202 on: August 10, 2011, 08:53:11 AM
I've scaled my drinking way back. The cost-benefit ratio of drinking is just so damn poor. Hangovers are brutal affairs. You know what's good? Nutmeg. It's similar to alcohol in that it has a heavy feel to it but the hangover is just super laziness and exhaustion the next day. If you have nothing better to do than hit up a movie or play vidya games the next day then it's totally worth the trifling side-effects like cottonmouth and constipation. Kyle, you'd better steer clear of it though given your *ahem* anal condition.

I like booze. The only reason I don't have a bit every day is I'm not working out enough to keep the weight off.
It's cheap and good in Japan. Yay.

Good shit tho Si. The fastest way to save cash is to cut back on discretionary spending. 'tis how I bought my first house.

I doubt I'm done drinking forever. I'll get back to the point where I want to have a few drinks now and then, I reckon, but for now I'm gonna chill on it.

I got a second opinion yesterday, from my regular GP. He very much doubts I'm hypertensive, and showed me that my BP is likely showing high when I go get it measured at a doctor's office because I'm nervous about it being high. He had me relax and measured it again, and it was 5 points lower on each side once I just chilled out a bit. He told me to lay off the diuretic that the previous doctor had me on, take my BP every day, and come back if it started spiking. He said I'm doing all the right things in terms of lifestyle change, and that if I keep it up I should be fine. So yeah, pretty cool to find out that I'm being somewhat proactive instead of just reactive.

And I'm managing to deal with hanging out in bars without needing to drink, or at least I did last night. Hanging out with cute Dutch chicks helps.

I've cut down on drinking a lot over the past couple of years.  I have gotten myself back to the point that the actual 5 drink definition of binge drinking feels like a lot - I seldom have more than 2 beers in a sitting.  I've also gotten myself to the point where I can go some situation/place that I would traditionally get hammered and not drink at all.

In the last 6 months or so, I've had the peculiar experience of a couple friends complaining that I don't hang out as much anymore - which is certainly true, because I'm not in the bar until 2 in the morning.

Re: More medical issues. Reply #207 on: August 11, 2011, 05:02:23 PM
Couple months ago I went for my regular checkup I have to get after last October's little episode, and the doc told me I had to give a blood sample.  No problem, I've never been squeamish about blood, so I go into the room with the nurse, and she sets up.  Get her little pricker apparatus and a vial that was about four inches long and a half inch wide, and I ask her "Damn, you must need a lot of blood for this test." and she laughs and says yeah, they need a good bit to send off to the lab.  Tells me not to look when she's about to stab me but I tell her its ok, I'm not squeamish, and she looks at me odd as I watch her put the thing in my arm and start drawing blood, no big.

Then she pulls out six more vials.

"God damn, how much blood do you need?"  She tells me they need seven vials for all the tests they have to do, it's standard.  So I sit there and watch her pull five and a half vials out of my left arm before I apparently run out, and after squeezing my arm for a couple minutes she says she needs to try the other arm, and unplugs me.

While she's getting the next run set up, I start to feel a little light-headed and woozy, and suddenly I've gone deaf.  I'm trying to tell her this but I can't hear myself speak, so for all I know I sound like Marlee Matlin.  She looks at me and starts to freak out a little and calls the doctor and another nurse, who both run in and start talking to her about the fuck do I know because I'm deaf now but they looked excited.  Doc tries to ask me stuff but I can't hear him and can barely read his lips and now I feel like I'm about to pass out so I say that and the male nurse runs off.  I'm thinking shit, if I pass out here in this small office, they'll have to find the biggest bodybuilding fucking paramedics in the state to cart my 6'4" fat ass through this place to an ambulance.

Finally, I can start to hear again a little, and the male nurse and an older nurse come back with a couple bottles of water and tell me to drink them, and I gulp the first down in one swallow, then start drinking the second.  The doc's asking me how I feel and I'm telling him fine, just dizzy, and if they need to take more blood they might have to give me a few minutes here.

"FUCK no.  You're done giving blood for the day now, Hoss.  Call someone to pick you up."

I lied and said ok, since my roommate was at work and my parents were out of town, and after resting another ten minutes or so, went out to my truck and after making sure I was clear-headed drove to McDonald's and got myself a Double Quarter Pounder meal that I wolfed down after I got home.
No one mourns the wicked.
