Why is my name being taken in vain for this thread?

I'm glad that Chris Hardwick is still around.  I remember him doing Singled Out on MTV back in the 90s.
Pour the wine, hold the grind, quarter to nine, let's go.

She couldn`t single you out of the lineup then. And women love the dangerous ones, no matter what the police report says.

Re: eeehhhnnn.... Reply #7 on: December 16, 2009, 12:45:18 PM
Hahahaha that's funny.

My youngest kittah had a bit of distress yesterday morning. I had a plastic ball cat toy hanging from a string in the bedroom doorway. She plays, played, with it every morning. Yesterday about ten minutes before I would have gotten up she was slapping away at it making it clack against the wall and door when I heard a bit of a quizzical report which I thought at first was from her hassling one of my older girls. It was followed by a slightly longer more serious sounding yowl and I realized it was Merlina and not Silky. So I thought I better get the fuck up and see what was going on, just as I stepped out of bed and headed for the door which was partially closed blocking my view she let out a long sustained scream of pure blood curdling terror. So I hurried over and found sort of what I had expected, she had her claws caught in the mesh of the ball.  But what was really funny was that when I first saw her she had all four paws locked on the ball and was hanging in mid air upside down from it screaming at the top of her voice with the two older cats sitting there laughing at her.  She was completely panicked and hysterical. I scooped her up and as soon as her weight was off the ball popped loose but I couldn't hold her for long because she was all claws with no reasoning capacity at that moment.

After a few minutes she was back to normal. Looking back on it, it was really a pretty funny situation but I'm glad I was here to help her get loose or she might have injured herself.

Oh my god, I really wanted to read your inane post about your lame cats so I could find something in it to make fun of but I just couldn't make myself do it. I find your cats that un-interesting.

Next time post a story about getting that beard of yours stuck in some other hobo's zipper, while a shop keeper hoses the two of you down and yells that he's calling the cops. I might read that.

I had the same exact situation when I was home alone with my parents' puppy. He bit the toddler gate that was penning him in and he managed to get his teeth stuck in the mesh. He started screaming in a very alarming way and I rescued him. My cat did something similar once too. What would happen if we weren't around to save them? I really wonder how often this happens and they get free without any problem. I always feel like a big hero, but I wonder if I'm really just a small hero.

Bahahaha! Dear god. That shit is golden. The other people studying exams in the dead-silence section of the library with me are not pleased with me at all.

Yeah I wonder about that too. But we did find a cat once caught in a wooden fence that had almost completely torn it's leg off trying to escape.

And it's perfectly fine with me guys, I completely ignore all of your sports threads as well.

I thought boating was a kind of sport.  You have to be strong to do it, I'm assuming.  The only sport I do well is sport fucking.

I have fewer boats than I have inane text messages from you, Luke. You do the math.

Dyl, I'd hit you back for that but you'll just cry about how unfair I am and how I hit below the belt. You know, like you did last time.

Why thank you Zooms, that's very considerate of you.  Recently it seems as though you might have realized that it's more psychologically rewarding to be an amiable gentleman than a snarky douche, no?
