Hahahaha that's funny.
My youngest kittah had a bit of distress yesterday morning. I had a plastic ball cat toy hanging from a string in the bedroom doorway. She plays, played, with it every morning. Yesterday about ten minutes before I would have gotten up she was slapping away at it making it clack against the wall and door when I heard a bit of a quizzical report which I thought at first was from her hassling one of my older girls. It was followed by a slightly longer more serious sounding yowl and I realized it was Merlina and not Silky. So I thought I better get the fuck up and see what was going on, just as I stepped out of bed and headed for the door which was partially closed blocking my view she let out a long sustained scream of pure blood curdling terror. So I hurried over and found sort of what I had expected, she had her claws caught in the mesh of the ball. But what was really funny was that when I first saw her she had all four paws locked on the ball and was hanging in mid air upside down from it screaming at the top of her voice with the two older cats sitting there laughing at her. She was completely panicked and hysterical. I scooped her up and as soon as her weight was off the ball popped loose but I couldn't hold her for long because she was all claws with no reasoning capacity at that moment.
After a few minutes she was back to normal. Looking back on it, it was really a pretty funny situation but I'm glad I was here to help her get loose or she might have injured herself.
