Apparently Kansas City Cheifs coach Todd Haley believes in superstitious bullshit, and is much more of a douche than I thought......

Someone does something amusing on the internet. People follow suit and are also amusing. Usually this ends with the amusing thing being done to death and no longer being amusing.

Why are Cincinnati winning games?

This goes against the natural order of things.

Not that I mind.

Hahahahaha..............

On another note, if anyone wonders why I started this thread; watching football in season, or basketball in season... is the highlight of my life right now...

:)

I was ecstatic about the Chiefs/Dolphins game..... The Dolphins beat the KC bitches, and Brandon Marshall has Borderline Personality Disorder. Which means even emotionally unstable, EMO, crazy-self-mutilating wide receivers do a better job handling a football than the entire KC team....... :)

I like when the Ravens win, even though I watch maybe 2 games a season.

Re: NFL Current Thoughts Reply #8 on: November 09, 2011, 06:47:47 PM
The Ravens are one of those teams that I like until I need them to lose. That sounds funny, but I think most of you know what I mean.

BTW, anyone who enjoys interesting discussion on NFL matters ought to be reading the NFL roundtable going on between Slate and Deadspin.

http://deadspin.com/nfl-roundtable/

...it starts with the most recent article, and they're all worth a read, but honestly if anyone has some time on their hands and the inclination, I'd go back to the very first article and read 'em all. I haven't missed one yet.

Hmm. I bet I'll have some time later on to read that.

I'll be seriously angry if that quote-job worked like a really lame shack-job.......

Yes, I know exactly what you mean though. I base my season's expectations Against the Cheifs because they are coached so poorly that they never stand a chance.

I do think Green Bay does pretty well, and I have to wonder how great Anyone can do when their coach screamslike a banshee at them....

1. There is no end to the ridiculousness of Me trying to quote successfully from my iPhone :)
2. I'm still trying to figure out how KC is considered Western enough to be stuffed into the West district of the AFC......

Dolphins are East..... Jaguars are South..... But they're in the same fucking state......

Ohio has two teams, but they are in the same district.....

A lot of the divisions in the various sports make little sense geographically, but more sense when you factor in historical rivalries. That's the short answer. Long answer available if wanted.

Interesting. Long answer would give me ample reading material. :)

The NFL is polar-opposite as it was last year ...
I mean, the Lions had a 2-14 season last season ...

All that said, with all the new starters, Peyton Manning out, and everything else, it's just not as exciting this year ...
BOOYA, MOTHERFUCKER!!!

Not to be contrary, but that's pretty much all wrong.

There aren't any more new starters this year than any other year, I don't think.

Peyton Manning being out only makes things less exciting if you're a Colts fan, otherwise it's actually kind of interesting to see an AFC playoff picture that doesn't include Indy for the first time in ages.

The Lions last year weren't 2-14, they were 6-10, including a four game win streak to end the season.

And last year's champion, Green Bay, is still undefeated and a 13 point favourite over the Vikings tonight.

Polar opposite? Nah.
