I'm growing shaggy these days. The only thing that is more lazy than shaving the hair to the zero-point is letting it grow. I get a serious trim when I go home for Xmas, and then again when I come home for the summer.

I thought I'd make myself into a liar so I stopped at a barber's on the way to the gym today and paid to have my head shaved. It was quick, clean, and pretty cheap. No hair to clean up is a plus.

I think that's something I would notice.  And yet I've never measured my heart rate after a 26-mile ride across town.  It's probably high since at the end I can barely climb the stairs to the apartment or see to either side.

CT: Potential for most epic of weekends coming up.

Going to watch Japan play Canada at rugby this weekend. A guy from my high school is on the Japan side so free corporate box invite, drinks during the game and booze-up + BBQ with the players, coaches and groupies after. At 6am the next day leave for annual baseball trip, whole team on a bus going down the coast to stay at a lodge somewhere. Drinking and gambling starts at 6:30 am and won't stop for 36 hours of bbq, kart racing, fishing, banquet with hostesses, Karaoke and bowling. For those of you who came to Japan, imagine the whole week rolled into 36 hours with no sleep, the same amount of booze, more hostesses and nakedness. Lastly it's a national holiday on Monday and I'm taking tomorrow off for the win.
