You'd probably amaze yourself!  It's pretty easy, and when YOU're the one writing the code, the bugs are fewer and further between.  Alas, they're harder to FIND, since you're the one that made the mistake to begin with.

Nick?  By puzzles, I meant like riddles, crosswords, logic problems, mysteries, word games ~ just little exercises for your brain cells, that will help you to think outside of the box.  Also, there are those times when there IS only one correct solution.

I like puzzles somewhat. I'm a big fan of word games. I'm nothing special at them but I'm not terrible usually. I have a kind of weakness for Cryptic Crosswords. that's some hard stuff right there. I don't think word-games are very comp-sci-like though.

logic puzzles are only fun for me when I'm supposed to be writing a term paper.

Along the lines of Tetris - Lumines (Music game legend, Tetsuya Mizuguchi's first Tetrisy title. This guy's work is truly fantastic)
Along the lines of Ms. Pacman - Pac-Man Vs. (an amazing multiplayer where your friends can play as the ghosts)

Writing code if fun.  I can write an entire html site on notepad.  It is easy once you figure out what is right and what is wrong.  You just memorize the different code for doing things and you insert it.  The only thing I don't have memorized at this point is all the different color codes.  I have never used dreamweaver however.  I just save the notepad file and run it in safari.  You can really do that for a part time job?  Working for the man makes you so ignorant when it comes to working for yourself.  PS-  Found you a dream job Brook....

And thats why I didn't think doing websites for a living was such a great idea, ANYONE can do it so there will be lots of competition starting out.
Major companies use established contacts or have their own division for web development and smaller companies generally do it themselves.
Plus once you get it all down to where where you feel completely comfortable doing it the whole system will change to something completely different.
It is possible to pick up a few bucks doing it but it doesn't sound like a good career move unless you are especially gifted at it. Still, it can't hurt to learn.

Oh I use notepad too. More specifically I use UltraEdit,  but basically just a text editor like notepad.
