All the pictures that I post are artsy fartsy. I wish I knew the art of photography because it seems so simple but it's not.
Also, I want to run my fingers through Balor's chest hair and then hold on for dear life.
Horizontal lines accentuate tension, vertical lines relaxation, angles dynamism and action. Crop images to 1:1.5 or 1:1.6 dimensions and use vertical or horizontal framing the same as you would the aforementioned accentuation of lines. This pretty much applies to all art.
Simple examples:

Horizontal layout, horizontal figure, but posed so that lines form a lot of angles around the 45-degree plane. Relaxed sexuality.

Vertical layout, vertical figures, posed so that most lines that are at an angle are still nearly vertical. Tension, anxiety, etcetera.

Vertical layout, figures vertical, posed at angles with accentuation of those closest to 45 degrees. Tension and violent action.

Vertical layout with bold vertical lines placed along vertical border and background for tension.
Go back and look at the cloud photos and you'll see I framed them to accentuate a more angular sweep from one photo to the next. (They were taken just as a storm began to break.)
This is the real basic framework without which you'll always have trouble getting consistent results.
