I think oral sex is a lot more intimate than regular sex.  I've never gone down on a girl I haven't had sex with.  My ex-girlfriend (many years back) actually didn't want me to go down on her because she had some kind of irrational fear about it I have no idea.

Sex with my current girlfriend has been very bland lately.  We're long distance (NY+DC) and we get together about once every 2 or 3 weeks, and in the past, we would knock it out like 4 or 5 times a weekend, now it's like 1 or 2 and it hasn't even really been that good.  I can't tell if it is her or me, but she is just much less reciprocative/responsive.  In the past she initiated a lot more than I did, now I've been trying to initiate more and she's not that into it.  I take pride in the fact that whenever we hit it, I do whatever it takes to get her off, and I always get her off first, but it just seems like she's not returning the favor.  It's frustrating a bit.

If she's not satisfied with the current state of the relationship there's probably some dude she knows who she's begun to fixate on. If there's some dude she's begun to fixate on she already may be spending time with him. If she's spending time with him she may already be boning him. If she's not boning him she's probably thinking about what it would be like.
