Well I was gonna say something then a bunch of people posted in the meanwhile so instead
I'll just say that this perfectly fits evolution. Milk is a valuable food source with many benefits especially to those who would otherwise be undernourished. As such it is only rational for the species to project a body modification gene into the future so that we can take then advantage of it.

Obviously the process is still evolving.

However there is also another aspect we must consider. Milk is a multi billion dollar industry. Their goal is to saturate us with their products. The long term effect of such saturation would be a false or disconnecting aspect upon the natural direction of evolution.

ACTUALLY it was a mutation caused By drinking milk.

Evolution doesn't CAUSE mutations; evolution is the word used to describe the process of change in a species because of mutations and selective forces.

Folks with this particular mutation had a greater survival rate (see Tru's post about nutritional value of milk), which led to the mutation being a dominant allele (more milk-drinkers survived hard times than non-milk drinkers).  Drinking the milk didn't cause the mutuation, though; drinking the milk is what allowed the mutated people to have a higher survival rate against selective pressures than people that could not drink the milk.

My rant is on a 'friend' of mine. He complains when people take pictures of him but takes pictures of people who don't want theirs taken. People who quite clearly make a fuss about having it taken. He was talking about my brother not being respectful/aware of other peoples feelings around him after I'd actually asked him to stop bitching about my brother. He irritates me so much. He has a pompous holier than thou attitute which really gets to me.

EDIT: Also, he puts a stupid watermark on all the photos he takes. Even the ones he takes of ME, even when I ask him to send it to me so I have a copy. wtf am I supposed to do with it now?! *mad*

The motor or whatever stoped working, or its blowing hot ?  Is it blowing at a " normal " volume ? I can't see any reason to replce and moving part if it's blowing normal.

From what I've gleaned:  The blower motor was locking up and overheating or something, so he replaced it and it blew cold for about a half hour.  It's blowing air just fine, at normal volume, the air it's blowing just isn't cold.  So it's pretty much useless.

You have central air....hmm. I know you are in texas, but do you have heating banks in the ducts ? hmm no, im thinking industrial..gota think home ac. you will have flex ducting... any heating at all thats not part of the unit itself ?

a faulty heating bank in the roofspace might be heating you air before it gets to you. apart from that. i got nothing.

cept gas charge of course. even a low charge will blow cold for a bit... but it will never be frosty in temp.

You may be right, because that's exactly what it's doing.  It blew pretty cold for about a half hour or more after the guy left, then went back to blowing lukewarm air again.  And the first time we had a guy out to check it, back during a warm spell in January, he said there was too much coolant in it and drained some out, so if he was wrong, maybe it just doesn't have enough coolant.

I don't think anything's heating the air, it's not hot, just not cold.  Running it as it is is better than leaving it off because at least it's circulating air, I think.  It has a switch for an "emergency electric heat" thing that I've never used because I have gas heaters all over the house for heating.

If you can run it in "fan only" mode i would suggest you do it, running it on " cooling" with a low charge can fuck some of them up, all depends on make model and i cant remember that level of detail on home ac.

Nah, I'm pretty sure he IS the boss. That's just a good ol' Texas boy for ya.  Really nice guy, too.  He said he thought the fan relay was broken so he just bypassed it, and he's gonna come by again in an hour to check on it again.  And all of this is warranty work from the time he first worked on it in January, no charge.  I kinda want to pay him anyway because it's like, ten fucking o'clock.

Yeah, this whole time I've been thinking it must be some kind of relay or a switch, considering it has no problems blowing cold for an hour or more sometimes, but I assumed I knew fuck-all about air conditioners so I thought I was probably wrong.

It has his name, his email and a picture of a camera. In the corner of every fucking pic. A while ago he was talking about it and he said it was because he was proud but seriously, if he's taking pictures of ME then I would like to be able to have a copy of that without his fucking name and email on it. Ugh. I need to get away from here.
