Kyle bought the URL and then donated it so we could have this place. Hell, I was one of the folks who paid money to set this place up back in '01 (yes, I bought my modship!). And I did that just cuz our previous board was awesome and I wanted to help it continue.

All I'm saying is not to expect to make any money from your 'investment', or even to break even. If you're cool with spending a bit to help the community, then great. But the way you originally phrased it made it sound like you were getting a steal of a deal on something that would pay off big eventually.
