OK so Dalhraidian Spring Equinox is upon us, March 28th at the beach cottage. Steeleye asked me to invite all of youse who are available and want to attend. Emp, Chi, Geek, Detroit, Libertine (you're in the DC area right?) tricky, Punky, anyone else within a days drive??

Come to the lower Potomac for a weekend of heavy drinking, burning things, and midnight trips to St Clements Island to desecrate the site of the first Catholic Mass in North America with obscene shadow puppets on the 4 story cross.

There will be:
 FIVE sailboats
three kayaks
a new(er) canoe
the 26' party deck boat known lovingly as the USS Manfrog
the usual 150' of clean beach
massive amounts of alcohol (and the usual Zoomie puking in the surf)
potluck dinner Saturday
Steeleye's famous cranky old man pancakes on Sunday morning
camping space for all (let me know if you need a tent, I have about 15 of them)

The Spring Equinox Ceremony will take place at 8pmish, to be immediately followed by the initiation of Aila, the angry Persian midget, as a free Celt of Dalhraidia.

I have never been disappointed by one these events.

Count me in as 90% certainty (the only way I would pull out would be if I get fucked with school work around that time, but I can probably plan around it).  How far of a drive is this clandestine location from College Park.

College park... maybe 90 minutes. It's near Leonardtown, MD.
